Food themed balloon arch!

Did a balloon decoration a few days ago. And this was the basic arch. Client wanted it in golden as it’s for a elder. And chinese love red or gold, as it represents prosperity and happiness. 😄

My wife is in the picture for scale. And most of my balloon arches are 2.5m x 2.5m. But I will always adjust the arch size according to the venue that I’m doing. 😄

And after that I start to attach the main key elements to the arch. As this is a food arch, I add many ingredients (more will be shown below) and this is the carrot. 😄

And a broccoli is a cute and very good example of a vegetable. And I really like the proportion of the balloon broccoli. The top is a darker shade of green, which complements the bottom light green. 😄

Also did a prawn and a sunny side up! And it’s all made using balloons only! Using different balloon techniques and sizes to create the desired outcome. 😄

And not to forget the balloon Drumstick! This is essential in this balloon decoration as I feel this is a very cute sculpture.  😄

And I couldn’t do a dead or cooked octopus, so I did do a live and cute octopus. And I did to to somehow show that it’s hiding. 😄

Tadah! This is the final outcome of the arch. And I also added “94” size 40″ foil balloon to show that it’s a 94 year old birthday celebration. 😄

And for short words or numbers we will use 40″. If it’s long sentences we will use 14″. 😄

Here’s a close up of the foil number. 😄

And the most difficult thing to attach to the arch is the foil. As it’s relatively heavy compared to the balloon sculptures. And it will definitely weight down the arch a bit. Plus to make it hold on for long hours, we will use special accessories such as foil tape and balloon safe tape to secure it. So you can trust us to give you the best results eveeytime.  😄

Alright, that’s all for today. I will update more next time. 😄
